Here is my Spring menu. If you get on my mailing list, I'll ensure you are updated when the seasonal offerings change. Order soups and entrees from the weekly e-mail. These can be picked up fresh, or frozen for pickup at your convenience. Breads may be special ordered. Click on each item to see ingredients. Please note that I am constantly looking to improve the ingredients, for my health's sake --- and for yours!

Breads

   Bread, the 'Staff of Life'

  1. French/Italian - $6.00/loaf or $4/4 rolls *BH
     Crispy crust but soft fluffy center.
     Loaf or hard rolls. Good take-along.
  2. Pita Breads - $4.00/5 *BH
     A pocket bread that travels well.
  3. Cheddar Wraps- $9.50/12
     Sturdy, yet soft, with the cheddar taste built in.


Rolls

  4. Garlic knots - $4.25/6
    A light Italian with garlic-infused olive oil.
  5. Buttermilk Sourdough $4.25/6 New!
    Southern style and flavorful.  
  6. Pumpernickel Sourdough $4.75 New!
    A great brown bread with caraway and sourdough.

Breakfast Breads
   Get your day off to a great start, with some down-home
   goodness, from my kitchen to your plate

     A decadent muffin stuffed with pear; center topped with spices and
     brown sugar.
   8. Banana Muffins - $6.00/6
     A delicious, soft, cake-like banana muffin.

     Chestnut flour based, bursting with real apple.

    Feed a cold, feed a fever, how does that old saying go?
    Who cares? Feed yer face!!!

   Mama sez mangia!!! A world classic cuisine.

     What? Yes! Cheesy pillows with tomato sauce.
     (Without sauce subtract $.50/dozen)
13. Lasagna - $35.00/full tray $7.00/single
     A robust beef version stuffed with cheese, a hint of red wine,
     and homemade noodles.
14. Pizza - $11.00 plain $11.50 pepperoni
     A 15-inch, thin crust, slice of pizza-parlor heaven.
15. Stromboli
     Super-thin pizza crust rolled around a host of fillings - about 8"x3".
  Plain Stromboli - Mozzarella and provolone with marinara for dunking $4.00
Steak and Cheese Stromboli - Thinly sliced roast, sauteed onion and a horseradish dunking sauce $6.00
Mushroom Stromboli - Sauteed mushrooms, ricotta cheese, Italian herbs with dunkin’ marinara. $7.00

     Organic chicken with chilies and a tangy tomatillo sauce
17. Turkey and Bean Burrito - $2.75 each
      A taste of Mexico with a healthy turkey twist.

      Organic chicken breast, oven-fried.
19. Cantonese Pork $22.00 family $6.50 single
     Sliced pork tenderloin with mushroom, onion and pineapple in a
     tangy sweet and sour sauce. A family favorite.

      Chestnut flour based, moist and delicious, a hit with the
      carrot cake crowd (and you know who you are!).

     Chocolate cookie stuffed with creamy peanut butter, and
     drizzled with glaze, but not just for drizzly days! Yum! *BH

      Flaky crust & fresh apple and a crumble crust.
25. Special Occasion Sheet Cakes    $38.00-$52.00
       Birthday, anniversary or shower!
      1/2 sheet cake (serves 30) Mix and match choices:

All items are gluten-free per the manufacturer and the Celiac-Sprue Association Product Listing. I make every effort to keep my kitchen gluten-free, but I cannot guarantee perfection.

Some recipes are from Bette Hagman's Gluten-free Gourmet. She rescued me when I was first diagnosed. Her recipes are marked *BH. Thank you Bette; we mourn her passing in 2007.
